Srinagar, March 29 (KNO): The army on Sunday strongly refuted the news reports that a Territorial army soldier was tested positive stating that the news was factually incorrect as the fact was “samples of soldier were taken and results were negative.” Defence Spokesman in Srinagar Colonel Rajesh Kalia while speaking to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that no soldier has tested positive for Covid-19. “The news report circulating in a section of media is fake and baseless. The fact is soldier’s samples were taken and the report is negative,” he said. Earlier, a national news agency had tweeted that a territorial army soldier, who had returned from leave, was tested positive for Covid-19 in Srinagar. “His colleagues have been isolated as per procedure,” the news agency had reported—(KNO)
